Dealing and The Flop
Both the dealer and the player will receive two cards in the face down position. Once cards have been dealt, then the hand will be evaluated and the next play must be determined. Either:
1. Fold
- The dealer wins the ante wager
- The hand stay on the table if the player placed a bonus side bet
- In the event no bonus bet was place, the hand will be thrown away
2. Bet
- Ante bet doubles and shall be put on the "Flop" and play goes on
The Flop
One card will be burned by the dealer in the face down position. The dealer then place three cards in the face up position in the Flop. These cards, also known as community cards, can be utilized by all players involved and the dealer.
The Turn and The River
The player can at this point choose to make another wager. While it is optional, it needs to be made before the 4th and 5th cards are shown. The player to the left can either:
- Check-which means play will continue with no additional be being placed
- Bet-which means play will continue after a wager is placed that is equivalent to the ante
After all decisions have been made, the Dealer burns another card as before and places the next community card in the face up position.
Settling the Hands: Pay and Take
When the dealer shows his highest ranking hand it will be compared against the player's highest ranking hands.
- When both total hand values are equal a Push is declared.
- When the Dealer's hands are higher he will take all bets.
- When the Dealer's hand is lower he will pay all bets.
- If the Player wins and holds a Straight hand or better he will be paid all bets plus the Ante, 1 to 1.
- If the Player wins and holds a hand lower than a Straight he will win all bets 1 to 1 but the Ante will be declared a push.
